The Pilgrim Uniting Church International Organist Series has for many years brought the world’s best organists to Adelaide. These musicians present recitals on Pilgrim’s acclaimed pipe organ, the largest pipe organ in South Australia.
Past visitors have included Simon Preston, John Scott, Winfried Boenig, Shin-Young Lee, Thomas Trotter, and Daniel Roth.
Since 2023, the International Organist Series has been proudly supported by the Stow Music Fund.

Dong-ill Shin

Dong-ill Shin is a prize-winner in the St Albans and Chartres International Organ Competitions. Following undergraduate studies in Seoul, Shin pursued further studies in France at the Lyon Conservatoire. He then studied under Olivier Latry and Michel Bouvard at the Paris Conservatoire in the prestigious Cycle de Perfectionnement Program.

David Drury

David Drury has toured England, France, Germany, Canada, the USA and New Zealand as a recitalist, and plays regularly with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and orchestras across the country. He is the only Australian to have won the Tournemire Prize for Improvisation at the St Albans International Organ Competition (1987).

Olivier Latry

Appointed titular organist of Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, at the age of 23, Olivier Latry is widely recognised as the global number one organ virtuoso. He performs regularly in the world’s most prestigious venues, is the guest of leading orchestras, records for major labels, and has premiered many works by leading contemporary composers.

James O'Donnell

James O’Donnell was Organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey from 2000 to 2022, leading the choir on many state occasions. A prize-winning organist, he has given solo recitals globally, including at the BBC Proms, and performed with leading orchestras.

Jennifer Chou

Jennifer Chou has appeared as a soloist in venues across Australia and Europe, notably Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and London’s Westminster Abbey. She commenced organ studies in Hong Kong, with further studies in the USA and France, where she won first prize in the Toulouse International Organ Festival in 2001.
