Pilgrim Uniting Church — October-November 2015
David Pattee is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ serving
as senior pastor with Kent UCC since April 2008. Before coming to Kent, David was vice president of Chicago Theological Seminary
and had served as pastor of UCC congregations in Connecticut and Illinois. A native of Portland, Oregon, graduated from Northwestern
University and the Chicago Theological Seminary, David was a missioner with the United Church of Zambia and has travelled widely
throughout the U.S. and extensively in southern Africa, the eastern Mediterranean, and southern India.

Professor Carol Johnson, BA Hons PhD, University of Adelaide, FASSA, Professor, Department of Politics and International Studies,
University of Adelaide.
Carol is a graduate of the Universities of Adelaide and Manchester. As well as having a long association with the Politics Department
at the University of Adelaide, she has also taught in Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney and was a Visiting Fellow
in the Political Science Program, Research School of Social Sciences, at the Australian National University for two years. Her main
teaching and research interests are in Australian politics, the politics of gender and sexuality, the politics of emotion and analyses
of ideology and discourse. She has published extensively in these areas.

Rev Dr Margaret Mayman, PhD in Religion and Ethics, Union Theological Seminary, USA. She is currently the
Minister at Pitt Street Uniting Church, Sydney since 2013. She graduated from the University of Otago with a BTh in Biblical and Pastoral Studies. Her Ph D in
Religion and Ethics was from Union Theological Seminary, New York, USA. Her thesis topic was the History of Marriage. Previously she was Minister, at
St Ninian‘s Presbyterian Church in Christchurch NZ for over 6 years and then Senior Minister ar St Andrews on the Terrace, Wellington New Zealand for over 11 years.
